This Is Me

You will find, as you look back on your life, that the moments when you have truly lived are the moments when you have done things in the spirit of love. ~H. Drummond

It is a natural progression of life, to fall in love and then, in time, to consider the other natural paths of life, such as life long commitment to another person and the birth of a new life.  Yes, I did just use the word "life" four times in one sentence.

I have only just begun the topsy-turvy journey of falling in love and attempting to remain in that state, along with juggling a fluffly and frequently precocious cat, a long-legged and mild-mannered greyhound, a job I swing between disliking and hating, and conflict between being caught in childhood Christianity and discovering a genuine faith in God.

I also continue my journey of living healthily--including running, eating nutritious food and constantly learning new ways I can help my body improve.

Between rowdy drinking nights, quiet evenings at home with my Person, spending time with my family and friends, I'm still trying to find (or create) my dreams and chase them.  There you have it:  life as I know it and live it.

I wish I could invent stories to make myself seem more interesting but this is all that you get. A regular girl who believes in the power of love and wants more from life than just mediocre experiences.  I hope you enjoy the posts I have written and excuse the often emotional or cliched thoughts that I have.
